Biography

- Menasha homeowner & taxpayer

- Wife (Husband: Gary), Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother

- Experienced with budgeting, accounting, payroll, receipting, computers, and managing

- Degrees in Police Science (Associate Degree, Fox Valley Technical College) and Business Administration (Bachelor Degree, Lakeland College); Certificate in Management (AMA, FVTC) and Administration, School of Police Staff and Command, (Northwestern University)

- Retired: Menasha Police Department (9 years Clerk/Dispatcher, 13 years Patrol Officer and OIC, 10 years Operations Lieutenant). For the last six (6) years, I have been collecting property taxes at the Town of Menasha as a seasonal employee. I have also worked temporarily in the Clerk’s office at the Town of Clayton and the Town of Menasha, mostly helping with the past two (2) Presidential elections.

- Member of various City committees: Chair, Administration Committtee; Chair, NMFR Joint Finance and Personnel Committee; Chair, IT (Information Technology) Steering Committee; Board of Public Works; Redevelopment Authority; Parks and Recreation Board; Facilities Study Commitee; DPW Building Committee; Parking Committee; and Protocol Committee

- I have always been active in the community with my participation in the girls’ basketball program at both the middle and high schools, mentoring with math and reading at elementary schools, volunteering at the Menasha Senior Center and fundraising for the Health Department/School defibrillator project. I have also worked as a pollworker for elections.

- I have been a mentor for an at-risk youth through the Challenge Academy at Fort McCoy.

I believe in Service: to my church, my family, and my community. As an elected official, I believe it is MY job to serve YOU and to respond to YOUR concerns.
